American musician and record producer, Chad Gilbert, took to Instagram on November 28th to share a heartfelt post for his dear friend CM Punk. In the post, Punk could be seen standing next to Gilbert with his left arm wrapped around the neck of Gilbert.

The post was uploaded with the caption, “Chemo day! This Cancer doesn’t stand a chance with this duo. Love my family and am forever grateful to all that brings me hope and a fighting spirit. Believe in yourselves! Bring joy from pain.”

The lead guitarist of the Rock band New Found Glory was diagnosed with cancer and even underwent emergency surgery to remove pheochromocytoma, a rare cancerous tumor. But, his current situation states that his treatment is still going on. Punk and Gilbert were best friends even before Punk became a big name in the Wrestling industry.
