Possible reasons why Cody Rhodes was present at SmackDown

Fans know that Cody Rhodes has a story to finish. The star who had played various gimmicks through the years is finally writing the story on his own terms. For that, he knows that he has to take down the biggest and the baddest, Roman Reigns. While he has tried taking him down on various occasions, he has failed as he lacked support. Another star who shares a similar dream is LA Knight. The Defiant One too wants to take down the faction. After his bout with Jimmy Uso at this week’s SmackDown, he was ambushed by Solo Sikoa and was left helpless. It is then that The American Nightmare makes his way to the ring to help him out.

This could be a prompt at an unlikely team-up ahead of Survivor Series. The two could team up and with the help of some friends from Raw, they could be successful in taking down the notorious Bloodline. The duo might shake hands soon and fans might see the team-up in effect starting from the upcoming Survivor Series. Also, the former EVP of AEW knows how things work. So, he might be onto something big. After he successfully dismantles the Bloodline, Rhodes will go after The Tribal Chief as there will be no one to help him. What do you think might be his motive behind this?
