The WWE Universe has witnessed the rise of several wrestlers, however, not all can make a place in people’s hearts like The King did. He is one extraordinary example in the wrestling industry. Wrestling demands fitness and even at the age of 73, Jerry Lawler is set to return to the squared circle. After receiving the news, fans are thrilled to watch him wrestle in the ring after years. Even after having a near-death experience during his active wrestling days, he is not afraid to step into the ring. During this period, he once suffered a heart attack in 2012. However, The King came back pretty strong. 

Fans congratulated the WWE legend for his in-ring return 

This appearance by the King of Wrestling marks 53 straight years of matches for him. Without a doubt, it is one incredible accomplishment that’s rare to see, especially in an industry that demands robustness from its performers.

A few days back, Jerry posted a picture on Twitter of him alongside the poster of his match in Acts of War Games 2 by AML Wrestling. Looking at this update, fans were more than happy for Lawler. Not only did they praise him for such a great achievement but also for maintaining a magnificent physique at his age. 

Some of the fans asked him to be more careful as no one had forgotten about the heartbreaking moment from a Monday night RAW match. That day everyone almost believed that they lost The King forever. 

One wrestling maniac even mentioned his favorite match of the Memphis-born wrestler. 

Another fan requested Lawler’s entry to the 2023 Royal Rumble.

Jerry Lawler once did something shocking

One would never believe what the 73-year-old wrestler once did. He celebrated his ‘death day,’ Yes, you read it right. A man who is all alive once celebrated the day when everyone thought they lost him permanently. That day he battled for his life while everyone in the WWE arena didn’t have an idea about what has happened to him.

After successfully recovering from his deathbed, Jerry made sure to celebrate it. On the 10th anniversary of that incident, he did something interesting to celebrate it. The WWE legend again wrestled at the state fair in Nashville. Even after surviving a massive scare, he never settles for anything less than wrestling in the ring.
