Randy Orton is a renowned name in the WWE universe. His most recent victory was over Big Show at Monday Night RAW. However, there is something he is better at, and that is going after AJ Styles on a social platform.

It all started with RJ City asking everyone to stop asking him about when he will be on a wrestling video game. Randy Orton responds to that saying even he wants to be a part of these games due to the money. In that conversation, RJ City types the lyrics to Mercy Drive’s ‘Take What’s Mine’ from the WWE Reckless Intent album. Soon, Orton responds with his theme song by the Voices. It escalated from that point onward to becoming a strike towards AJ Styles.

Randy Orton takes a jab at AJ Styles on Twitter

The harshest part is when The Viper calls AJ Styles a flat-earther. Now, where is this coming from?

So, back in 2016 during an episode of Talking Smack, Styles passed a comment about the Earth. He said that certain things in the theory of the Earth being flat makes sense. Even though he denied being a flat-earther, ever since that episode, Orton has been after him with this. It’s not just him who gives AJ Styles a hard time for this, but there are other Superstars who do the same. In fact, in 2019 Randy Orton put out a tweet asking Styles if he had any f,at-earthers in his followers list.

The amount of mocking The Phenomenal One has endured for his comments could have been the reasons why he swapped brands – from RAW to SmackDown. However, this is just a notion and there is no confirmation for this. There is a probability that Styles thought the flat-earther issue will not surface after his move to SmackDown, but thanks to Randy Orton, it will continue to be a topic in the WWE universe.
