At WrestleMania VI, Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior collided in a Winner Takes All Match for the WWE Championship and the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

The Ultimate Warrior rose higher up the ranks quickly following his WWE debut in 1987. But at WrestleMania VI, he faced off against The Hulkster. After a hard-fought battle, The Ultimate Warrior defeated Hulk Hogan in “The Ultimate Challenge”.

Recently, 90s WWE on Twitter posted a picture of Hogan following his defeat at the SkyDome. The Hulkster looked heartbroken while walking backstage after his WrestleMania VI loss against The Ultimate Warrior.

On that night, Warrior became the only wrestler to hold the WWE Championship and the WWE Intercontinental Championship at the same time.

But later, he had to relinquish the WWE Intercontinental Championship. This is because back in those days, WWE did not allow any wrestler to hold two titles at the same time.

As for Hogan, he once again got hold of the WWE Championship almost a year later at WrestleMania VII.
