RARE: The Undertaker, in His 20s, Posing With WWE Legend and Wrestling Veteran in WCW

After a long illustrious career of 30+years, The Undertaker aka Mark Calaway is finally going into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. The Undertaker is a name that is simultaneous to WWE. Fans have witnessed monumental moments of The Undertaker during his time as an active pro-wrestler. His WrestleMania streak of 21-0 will always be ‌one of the most legendary streaks of all time.

Before becoming The Deadman in WWE, The Undertaker wrestled across many other promotions. He used the wrestling names “Mean” Mark Callous and The Punisher before getting success as The Undertaker.

The Undertaker has wrestled in other companies like WCW, United States Wrestling Association (USWA), etc prior to his WWE debut. There he wrestled and was managed by many known faces he would meet later in WWE.

Recently, a Twitter page Pro Wrestling Stories shared a picture of The Phenom and his tag team partner Dan Spivey managed by Teddy Long during his WCW days. The name of the team was “The Skyscrapers”.

The Deadman ‌was the replacement of Sid Vicious in the team. The tweet said, “Long before Teddy Long forced WWE Superstars to go one-on-one with The Undertaker, he managed him (then known as “Mean” Mark Callous) in “The Skyscrapers” tag team alongside Dan Spivey in ’89/90”

This picture is from some time before Mark Callous debuted as The Undertaker in WWE. The Skyscrapers gave a tough competition to the legendary Road Warriors in all the matches they wrestled.

Years later, The Undertaker became a legend in pro-wrestling and Teddy Long became the greatest General Manager in SmackDown history. As for Dan Spivey, he retired from pro-wrestling in 1995 because of injuries.

After the Attitude Era ended, fans witnessed the Ruthless Aggression Era, which gave rise to new WWE superstars. SmackDown was a brand that was at its peak during the time with Teddy Long as its General Manager.

Teddy Long made huge Tag Team matches on SmackDown to resolve any problem. Also, fans remember him for his infamous catchphrase, “Tonight you will go one on one with The Undertaker.”

The Deadman was the face of the blue brand back then. Teddy Long used to force wrestlers to have a match with the Phenom if anybody would argue with the General Manager. The Undertaker wrestled many matches on the blue brand between 2005 and 2010.
