The Undertaker worked with WWE for three decades. During that entire time, Taker owned the character. It reached a point where he would go out in public dressed as Taker to not break character, even during his personal time.

Since his official retirement at Survivor Series 2020, ‘The Deadman’ has often been observed breaking character. Well, less breaking character and more showing the man behind the mask, Mark Calaway.

Mark Calaway is extremely different from The Undertaker. Calaway socializes, he talks to the younger talent, gives them advice, and shows a lot more emotions than ‘The Deadman’ ever did.

Recently, former WWE Superstar Karrion Kross shared several photographs of his time with other pro-wrestlers. One of those pictures was of his time with The Undertaker.

The duo is seen sitting either backstage at WWE or during the taping and making of WWE 2K22. But, it shows Taker talking to Kross and giving him advice!

It’s unknown if the caption used is the advice or knowledge shared by Taker, but Kross was attentively listening to him and absorbing everything Taker was sharing.

WWE released Karrion Kross on November 4th, 2021.

The Undertaker was present backstage during Royal Rumble 2022

Michelle McCool, The Undertaker’s wife, returned during the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble Match. Even though she didn’t secure the victory, watching her in the ring was an exciting moment for the WWE Universe.

Now, before the event started, photographs showed that The Undertaker was present at St. Louis. Unfortunately for the fans, he didn’t make a WWE appearance, but he was available after the event for a meet ‘n’ greet.

As of 2022, Taker has been clear on his stance about a probable WWE return. He refuses to come back to the ring, knowing that his body cannot endure what it once could.

Hence, he doesn’t want to give the WWE Universe a performance that is much below what he could do in his prime.

His last official match was the cinematic style Boneyard Match against AJ Styles. It was also Taker’s last victory at WWE!
