Hell in a Cell this year left fans wanting a lot more. The anti-climactic finish and a few unnerving results did not help the event in ratings at all. However, through all the action, some moments did deliver on expectations.

Here is a list of what WWE did right with Hell in a Cell 2021.

1.No championship changes

The entire event had 3 Championship matches- Drew McIntyre vs Bobby Lashley (C) for the WWE Championship, Rhea Ripley
(C) vs Charlotte Flair for the Raw Women’s Championship, and Bianca Belair (C) vs Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

No titles switched hands which was a great decision, given that the Champions needed more time on the belt and losing it now would not make sense.

2.Bayley vs Bianca Belair to open the event

Bayley and Bianca Belair delivered a thrilling opening match that showed the rest of the card. Bayley displayed her innovative tactics inside the Cell yet again by setting up traps for Belair.

Even though she was not able to walk out victorious, we had a brilliant encounter between the two that paid off in terms of entertainment.

3.Sami Zayn vs Kevin Owens

This match was underrated heading into the card but delivered on every expectation. The two stars, who have a history of working together, managed to put on a highly intense show that saw both thrown into every spot possible.

Needless to say, fans enjoyed the spectacle and we can see this tory moving on further down the line to higher stages.

4.Natalya and Tamina staying undefeated

Natalya & Tamina have formed quite the team and the tag team storylines are progressing very well. While Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke aren’t up there yet, we can see a steady climb and the two are being built for the title. Although, Natalya and Tamina must not lose this momentum and that is exactly why WWE is keeping them as the dominant team holding the Women’s Tag team Championship.
