Randy Orton may be occupied with a lot of rivalries in WWE today but the former WWE Champion knows when to give credit when credit is due. Even though he is an established star and surefire future Hall of Famer, Orton is grateful to those that put him there.
One man that comes to mind is Christian, whom he has feuded with quite a few times throughout the course of his career. Currently signed with AEW, Christian attempts to turn over a new leaf of his life and go out with a bang.

“Yes, I think 2009, 2011, and 2020 were the three best if I could sum it up. But, Christian, one of the best minds when it comes to creatively looking at a match and figuring out how to execute them,” said Randy, speaking on Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions.
“There’s stuff I’ve done with him that I’ve never done beforehand or after because it was all him. I was able to execute his ideas the way that I saw them but I got to give credit where credit is due, he knows his sh*t.”
‘The Legend Killer’ met Christian in the ring in 2020 after defeating Edge at Backlash. Christian, ready to make Randy pay, challenged him to an unsanctioned match, despite his injury.
Orton made short work of ‘Captain Charisma’ after a low blow from his then mentor Ric Flair, following which Orton sent Christian to the hospital with a Punt Kick.
In real life, the two have a deep respect for each other and Randy Orton is appreciative of the fact that Christian was so creatively open to many things which gave him a lot more freedom in the ring.

‘The Viper’ also sent a message on Twitter explaining the fact that he hasn’t forgotten what others have done for him and will always give credit where credit is due.
I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for many different people. I’ll never forget that. But I know, and they know. No problem giving credit where credit is due. I have a spot. I’ll have that MOTHER FUCKING spot as long as I want it. But make no mistake, I didn’t get here by myself. https://t.co/iuKKKYLZcd
