WWE Champion The Miz Claims He Has Always Been Better Than John Cena, Edge and Triple H
The Miz pulled off one of the biggest upsets in WWE history when he clinched the WWE Championship last night at Elimination Chamber. The ‘A-Lister’ cashed in his Money in the Bank contract successfully against Drew McIntyre, who had just won a grueling Elimination Chamber match.
Fans were eager to hear what he had to say next, and ‘The Awesome One’ delivered as expected. On the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, The Miz delivered his first promo as Champion.

Miz claimed that he was the best Superstar of his generation and was levels above the other men he once started off with. He also claimed that he was better than the likes of Batista, Triple H, John Cena, and Edge.
Furthermore, he argued that he was by far the most consistent Superstar of his generation, having fought through injuries and fatigue. Post that, he took a shot at Batista and John Cena by joking that the only way fans can find the two mega stars today is by seeing commercials.
11 years ago, The Miz cashed in his contract to beat Randy Orton and win the WWE Championship. Now, he has done it again with Drew McIntyre. Needless to say, Miz believes he has maintained his spot in the pecking order.

The Miz now has to prove himself as the best
The Miz’s ego has only increased as WWE Champion, but he may have spoken too soon. While naming the list of stars he is better than, ‘The Awesome One’ mentioned Bobby Lashley, who actually played a crucial role in him winning the title.
Lashley attacked Drew McIntyre before his Elimination Chamber victory, making him an easy target for The Miz. However, it seems that this favor was not without reason.

Apparently, Miz made a deal with Lashley’s manager MVP that if ‘The All-Mighty’ took out Drew for him, he would give him a Championship opportunity the next night on Raw.
