“Free Agent”- Mickie James Bashes WWE Over the Latest Draft
The first half of WWE’s draft took place on the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown. There were a lot of surprises and a few big moves. Although the fans had mixed feeling about the draft, Mickie James had a piece of her mind to let out.
In the draft, Mickie was totally left out. Following the main draft, an additional follow-up draft was announced on the SmackDown post-show. Superstars Humberto Carrillo, Murphy, Tucker, Kalisto, and Drew Gulak were announced for the respective brands.
In response to this, Mickie released a heated tweet expressing her dissatisfaction.

The former WWE Women’s Champion feels that the draft was unfair to her. Considering her experience and achievements in the company and sport, she should have been included in the draft as a sure pick.
Chad Gable also shared his frustration at being overlooked. The Superstar released a tweet with two words following the final draft picks of the night.

Mickie James and Chad Gable fear that they may be let go or join NXT
The reason why Mickie James and Chad Gable took the draft so seriously is because of an announcement WWE made earlier in the week.
The company announced that whoever did not feature in the draft would be a ‘free agent’. In other words, it means that they would no longer be a WWE Superstar.

This decision has put every Superstar on the roster on their toes. The only ones safe for now are the NXT Superstars who aren’t included in the draft this time.

The only hope for Mickie, Gable, and others not picked is Monday Night. On Raw, the second half of the drafts will be made and every Superstar will be watching with eager eyes.
There have even been several Superstars who have not been announced yet. The rest of the Superstars not drafted may make their way to NXT to prove themselves worthy of the main roster once more.

Mickie James is one Superstar who should not be involved in the NXT group if it happens. Fans want her to have a final title run before retiring. If WWE doesn’t let her have the title, it would surely mean a big waste of an opportunity.
