Drew McIntyre has his eyes set on the WWE Championship which currently sits around the capable shoulders of Bobby Lashley. Unfortunately, he made things a lot tougher for himself on Raw’s latest episode.

On the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, Drew McIntyre was booked to face Braun Strowman, and by the stipulation laid down by Lashley’s manager, MVP, Braun would have to beat McIntyre in order to get a shot at Lashley’s title.

So while Braun fought for his place in the title race, Drew fought for a chance to keep the match between him and ‘The All-Mighty’ one-on-one, as he knew a third party would make things a lot more complicated.

At first, Lashley and MVP watched the proceedings of the fight with eager eyes. Drew soon gained the upper hand over the much bigger Strowman and was about to slay the beast when MVP interfered along with Lashley from the other side.

The two distracted McIntyre, and Strowman had enough time to react and he scooped up the former WWE Champion for a huge running Powerslam, scoring the pinfall victory.

With this major win, Braun Strowman booked this spot in the match for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania Backlash. Bobby Lashley will now have to step in the ring for a Triple Threat match and will face two of the most dominant foes on the roster.

It will be extremely hard for each of them to walk away with the title, and it will be a hellish powerhouse showdown. Lashley is confident that he can’t put down his foes and prove his dominance over the title and wants to be undisputed.

Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman have formed an unlikely alliance after the match, and they agreed that the real enemy was Bobby Lashley who smiles from his golden throne as the heel champion. He is set to defend his gold no matter what and intends on weathering the Scottish storm and derailing the Strowman Express to retain his title.

It will be a match that is expected to get intense and highly physical in nature, and despite Lashley’s confidence, the truth is that it can go any way.
