The latest episode of Monday Night Raw kicked off with the latest edition of Miz TV yet again, but ‘The Awesome One’ showed up without John Morrison this time. The host for the night was WWE Champion Drew McIntyre who gallantly made his way to the ring.

Being a rude host, Miz never allowed McIntyre to speak and interrupted or cut him off as he opened his mouth. The Champion took this personally and headbutted the host, tossing his Money in the Bank briefcase into the stands again.

Following his departure, Miz got up to deliver one of his most serious and engaging Raw promos of all time. The former WWE Champion claimed that he was rudely interrupted and that he wanted to make a huge announcement.

Considering the fact that he was Mr. Money in the Bank, The Miz did not want to take part in the Elimination Chamber Gauntlet match that he is scheduled to fight in at the event.

He figured out that since he is the contract holder, he wouldn’t have to skirmish twice and will claim the opportunity when it’s most convenient for him against any of the Champions.

The Miz took his name off the Elimination Chamber Gauntlet match!

‘The Awesome One’ then proceeded to retract his name from the Gauntlet Championship match! His position is now vacant, and an infuriated Miz will cash in at Elimination Chamber once everyone has tired themselves out in the ring.

This strategy is somewhat ingenious yet uncalled for. If Miz competed in the Chamber, he could stand double the chances to win since he is the Money in the Bank contract holder. If he did lose at some point in the match, he could cash in at a later and more crucial point to win the title.

However, he wants to be the ultimate opportunist and pick the golden moment as he has always done. Many may remember the time when he cashed in to win the WWE Championship from Randy Orton in the most shocking turn of events.
