Adam Pearce is one of the most famed officials of WWE. It’s not just his transition from being a wrestler to becoming the face of WWE’s management but also the way he has executed his responsibilities.
Adam Pearce joined the company as a full-time coach for the Performance Center in 2015. It was during the same time when he was a producer for WWE NXT. His responsibilities included working backstage and training the talent, but it changed when he got promoted to Raw and SmackDown.
Here, Adam Pearce started off with similar roles as NXT, but then it expanded in 2018 to him making on-screen appearances. It required him to break up fights and keep them separated. By the time 2020 rolled around, Pearce had become the go-to guy in WWE for matches and disputes.

The reason Adam Pearce got this breakthrough is that previously Raw and SmackDown had separate authority figures looking after the brands. In 2019, the company moved away from this practise, and things went haywire.
There was no organized system of booking Superstars, and the system was functioning with chaos. This is when Pearce became a messenger between various entities in WWE.
Soon, his influence spread and he became the official figure to make on-screen appearances, taking decisions about bookings and matches, and almost everything else related to production.
Adam Pearce received a huge promotion
In 2021, the company recognized his efforts and gave him a huge promotion along with a new title. The company made him the Director of Live events.
They usually give this role to someone who will oversee the live events and manage the tours. Considering Pearce is the new Director, it’s possible live events will resume soon.
