TJ Wilson, known to WWE fans by his ring name Tyson Kidd, suffered a career-threatening neck injury during a dark match years ago. The injury ended his career, effectively keeping him out of the ring to date. However, his early retirement and the pain that came with it did not stop him from letting others achieve their own dreams.

Wilson works as a producer now in WWE and maps out matches and their designs. He is responsible for a lot of the things we see, and how we see them. Many may not know it, but he worked with Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks for the main event match on Night 1 of WrestleMania 37.

Speaking on ‘That 90’s Wrestling Podcast’, TJ Wilson described the feeling of making a star in Bianca Belair and what the experience meant to him.

“I mean, it’s always very cool and special to see, like with what I do now, it’s cool to have an idea and then to see it come to fruition and kind of come to life in 3D. Tt’s a very cool thing on every level,” he said.

“So when it’s the main event of WrestleMania, it’s almost indescribable and I’m not gonna — not that we’re gonna sit around and take credit for other people’s work but it was a fun process and it was a hell of a performance to watch and to be a part of,” he admitted. “Even a small part of it or whatever part of it I was, it was very cool to experience the entire thing from start to finish. It was very exhilarating and a thrilling, fun ride, like I said, from start to finish.” (h/t POST Wrestling)
