Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was recently named for the Trailblazer Award at the Fourth Annual Hollywood Critics Association Friday. The award is given to those who positively impact their community through initiatives of their own.
Time and again, Johnson has displayed his empathetic side and shown that he cares a lot for his community.
In a recent post on Instagram, ‘The Brahma Bull’ thanked the Hollywood Critics Association for creating a touching montage that encapsulated all the good deeds he had accomplished the past year.

Among the notable moments was his initiative to meet Make-A-Wish Foundation children and give away dozens of Under Armour sneakers off the first ones that arrived.
He also made their wishes come true by hanging out with them wearing iconic movie character attire from Hobbs & Shaw and Jumanji. The children were undoubtedly grateful for this and they got to walk away knowing they met their hero.
A couple of months ago, Dwayne Johnson gifted his close friend, known to WWE fans as Harvey Wippleman, a new truck as a symbol of thanks for what he had done for him when he was a young man.
Wippleman had helped him by driving him around to training and other places and even bought him his first car. Johnson repaid him in the best way by buying him the truck, a gesture that brought tears to his eyes.
Looking at it, there’s no one who would rather have the award than Dwayne Johnson himself. While he is an established actor and a legendary WWE Superstar, his work as a human being inspires the most appreciation.

In his acceptance speech, Johnson thanked his late father Rocky Johnson for being the Trailblazer in his life.
“That guy was a trailblazer. As complicated as our relationship was, our father-son relationship, complicated, tough love, tough love, but he was a real trailblazer because what trailblazers do is they change people’s behavior, and he did everything he could to send people home happy,” said the former WWE Champion.
