Bayley was one of the biggest names in WWE during the second half of 2020 and her feud with Sasha Banks held the banner high for SmackDown amidst a massive viewership decline in the red brand. However, as WrestleMania approaches, WWE failed to include her in the card for either of the two nights.
This omission caught the eye of thousands of fans that believe she should have been involved at Mania in some way, given her brilliant work over the year. Unfortunately, she was forced to make peace with the drop.

The former SmackDown Women’s Champion is still optimistic of the possibilities of her involvement, and already has a name in line to challenge at WrestleMania, should she get the chance.
“I would challenge Lita,” Bayley said, speaking to Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT. “I would just whoop Lita’s little behind. Then my childhood could be happy and complete.”

“Or I would jump the barricade and slap Michael Cole’s headset off. Tell him to get in the ring and we’ll settle it once and for all,” she joked.
Bayley wanted a grudge match at WrestleMania
Bayley did enjoy getting in the ring with former WWE Women’s Champion Victoria during this year’s Royal Rumble and does have a bucket list of legends she wants to face; a match against Lita doesn’t sound like a bad idea at all.

‘The Golden Role Model’ seems to have shrugged off this omission, but does claim she had something in mind.
“I would have loved to have had a non-title match at WrestleMania. Just a grudge type of match,” she explained. “Something that meant, not more than a title, but was a little deeper than a title. But, there’s always next year.”

With the absence of Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, only one out of the Four Horsewomen of the Women’s division will be competing at WrestleMania, which is quite an astonishing fact.

“I’m just so happy that more women are going to be represented and I know the two title matches are going to be killer so we can’t really be bummed out about it, we got to look at the bright side I guess,” Bayley concluded.

Bayley’s arch-rival Sasha Banks will have the main stage at WrestleMania as she defends against Bianca Belair which will undoubtedly be a match to watch. Even though the decision to make it the main event or not hasn’t been made yet, it should be confirmed soon.
