Drew McIntyre and Sheamus tore the house down at Fastlane 2021 in their highly intense encounter. The two really breached the borders of brutality as they tried to bring the pain to each other.

We knew we were going to see a different side to Drew McIntyre as he entered the ring sporting a new look, which was blue and white face paint, resembling that of the traditional Scottish warrior.

Fans immediately drew references to the movie Braveheart, to which McIntyre is compared a lot. WWE’s resident William Wallace took the pain to Sheamus by working him onto the steel steps.

He also showed his former best friend why they call him ‘The Scottish Psychopath’ when he used a kendo stick and tried to push its end into Sheamus’ eye socket!

This was the least of the punishment as the two took their brawl all around the screen areas of ThunderDome. The climax of the match was reached when McIntyre sent Sheamus face-first into three of the screens, causing a sickening electric crack with it.

Drew McIntyre and Sheamus did not drop the pace of the match

The intensity of the match never fell as the two brutally fought each other. Drew was in complete control until Sheamus caught him off guard with a huge Brogue Kick. ‘The Celtic Warrior’ was weary with his scars and the wounds from the earlier kendo stick attack were already showing.

Taking advantage of his downed opponent, Sheamus used his sheer strength to lift up McIntyre while standing on a barricade! He then delivered White Noise to the former WWE Champion into the Commentary table!
