Leading the march against WWE was none other than Ryback. The former WWE Superstar is always up at arms against Vince McMahon. Since the mishandling of his career and release from the company, he has been bitter about the company.

A lot of fans supported the former United States Champion in his claims and took to Twitter to criticize the decision.
Former WWE Backstage Interviewer Renee Young was also surprised. She praised Vega for her work and does not doubt that she will shine as a professional wrestler one way or another.
We have all become very familiar with the talents and drive of @Zelina_VegaWWE . Despite a pain in the ass setback, i have no doubt she will wind up doing something incredible in a matter of time. You can’t steal someone’s magic.

Zelina Vega was one of the breakout solo competitors in WWE for the past two months. After her split from Andrade and Angel Garza, many expected her to get a solo push.
After a few failed title shots at the Raw Women’s Champion Asuka, Zelina was drafted to SmackDown. She never really got an opportunity there and left better performances on the Red brand.
This sucks.. 😔 https://t.co/gSSrVqCTow

WWE released Zelina Vega over the Twitch edict fallout
There has been no official statement as to why WWE released the talent. Although, the entire issue arose from the controversial Twitch edict issued by Vince McMahon last month that sparked a lot of heat in the WWE locker room.
A short while before SmackDown aired, Vega released a very interesting tweet saying she supported the idea of unionization against Vince McMahon and WWE.
I support unionization.

Minutes later, WWE revealed that she had been released from the company. Contrary to popular belief, her release was not a result of the tweet but was already decided.
Zelina wasted no time restarting her Twitch account and will go back to her former ring name, Thea Trinidad. She received overwhelming support from fans that arrived in thousands to her stream.
