Shotzi Blackheart Admits She Is Injured Ahead of NXT TakeOver: In Your House
Shotzi Blackheart is one of WWE NXT’s most exciting Superstars to watch due to the extreme spots she takes part in. Entertaining inside the ring and out, she has truly made a huge name for herself in the brand and is undoubtedly a future World Champion.
She is a regular feature on the show, which is why fans were confused by her absence for the last two weeks of NXT. Following the tag team victory over Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez on the May 25 edition of the show, she has not been featured.
This led the WWE Universe to fear the worse. A suspicious fan asked Shotzi Blackheart if she was, indeed, injured tho which the Superstar replied “Yup”.

Shotzi herself was the first to confirm the injury. There has been no official statement or update from WWE on her situation which is why we cannot be certain over the degree of the injury. We also don’t know for how long the setback will keep her out of action.
Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart suffered a crushing defeat to Candice LeRae and India Hartwell on the May 5, 2021, episode, losing their NXT Women’s tag team championship as a result of that. They redeemed themselves by defeating Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez but the opponents couldn’t stand the defeat.

In a post-match ambush, Dakota Kai pinned down Moon while Gonzalez brutalized Blackheart. She threw Shotzi into the barricades and plexiglass multiple times, which probably caused the injury in the first place.

In her partner’s absence, Ember Moon has gone on to make the most of her solo time. She single-handedly crushed Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez both on the latest episode of NXT and proved that she has more than what it takes.
Moon is set to face Raquel Gonzalez at TakeOver for the NXT Women’s Championship and will look to pack some of that momentum in. We have no idea about the plans involving Shotzi Blackheart at the moment, but if her injury is mild, she could make an appearance to support her friend.

Right now, even though it is a one-on-one match, Ember Moon faces two opponents. Raquel Gonzalez will surely be aided by Dakota Kai, which is why Moon will have to be alert at all times and be extremely careful at whatever she does.
