Drew McIntyre had a purpose in mind as he entered the ring on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. The former WWE Champion wants a rematch with Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship under any circumstance and continued to demand it.

McIntyre demanded an answer from either ‘The All Mighty’ or MVP but was sent to the floor of the ring yet again by an invading Retribution, who did not have mercy on ‘The Scottish Psychopath’.

While Drew did get his answer and will have a Championship match against Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania Backlash, he got blindsided by T-Bar and Mace of Retribution for the second time, With that, WWE is slowly unraveling the future trajectory for the faction that seemed to be going nowhere on Raw.

By the way things are moving around MVP, it seems as if the two enforcers of Retribution have now sided with the Hurt Business and its ringleader.

Retribution turned on its leader Mustafa Ali weeks ago and now the heel faction has probably moved on to bigger opportunities by forming an alliance with men they once fought against.

Although we don’t know what the true motive behind all this is, we do know for a fact that MVP has found replacements for Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin, who left the group following a fall out with him.

Drew McIntyre has earned his shot at Bobby Lashley

Needless to say, T-Bar and Mace have proved themselves to be capable allies and have managed to do Lashley’s dirty work for him so far. Although they have blindsided Drew McIntyre, it is always a different case seeing him eye to eye, so we will have to judge the two after they face him in the ring.

As for McIntyre himself, he seeks another shot at the WWE Championship that he carried so proudly through the lockdown period and believes he still deserves.

Looking back at it all, Drew never lost the title to Lashley, but to the Miz after the latter’s interference. So we certainly know he does have the right to demand a rematch, but the question is- can he do any better than the attempt at WrestleMania 37?
