It turns out that Dwayne Johnson has just that on his mind, but is in it for the big picture. The WWE legend doesn’t want to be a Senate or the like, but he wants to be the President of the United States of America!
“I would consider a presidential run in the future if that’s what the people wanted,” admitted Johnson, speaking to USA Today. “Truly I mean that, and I’m not flippant in any way with my answer. That would be up to the people…So I would wait, and I would listen. I would have my finger on the pulse, my ear to the ground.”
Once a ‘People’s Champion’, always a ‘People’s Champion’. The Rock was the standout performer for WWE during the Attitude Era and is widely recognized as one of the best Superstars on the mic by the Wrestling world.
His flawless promo work and delivery make him the perfect candidate for moving a crowd. The Rock has the ability to grasp the attention of the audience through his delivery, which surely makes him the ‘Gettysburg Address’ of all Presidential Candidates.
