“That Would Be Up to the People”- Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Considers Standing for Presidency

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has done it all and has been everywhere, from the cover of magazines to the headboard on Times Square. However, one thing still remains, and that is what ‘The Brahma Bull’ may have his sights set on. 

With his popularity climbing every day and his influence as a personality breaching the stratosphere, fans wonder if Johnson will ever consider moving into politics.

It turns out that Dwayne Johnson has just that on his mind, but is in it for the big picture. The WWE legend doesn’t want to be a Senate or the like, but he wants to be the President of the United States of America!

“I would consider a presidential run in the future if that’s what the people wanted,” admitted Johnson, speaking to USA Today. “Truly I mean that, and I’m not flippant in any way with my answer. That would be up to the people…So I would wait, and I would listen. I would have my finger on the pulse, my ear to the ground.”

Once a ‘People’s Champion’, always a ‘People’s Champion’. The Rock was the standout performer for WWE during the Attitude Era and is widely recognized as one of the best Superstars on the mic by the Wrestling world. 

His flawless promo work and delivery make him the perfect candidate for moving a crowd. The Rock has the ability to grasp the attention of the audience through his delivery, which surely makes him the ‘Gettysburg Address’ of all Presidential Candidates.

Dwayne Johnson also tasted success yet again when the kick-off episode of his biopic ‘Young Rock’ crossed the 5 million viewership mark.

“The fun thing about ‘Young Rock’ is everything that people see in this first episode and throughout the season, everything happened,” claimed Johnson. “Now, what we do is, maybe it happened in a different year, maybe it happened in a different city.”

Fans are excited about the upcoming episodes and eagerly wait for more content. Till then, ‘The People’s Champion’ could consider that Presidential decision more.
