Roman Reigns is the most dominant force in WWE right now and has managed to decimate everyone in his path. We can only imagine what went through his head when he heard The Undertaker’s recent comments on Wrestlers today.
In his recent interview on The Joe Rogan Experience, ‘The Deadman’ referred to Superstars today as ‘soft’, and he wished they were more like the men of his time in the Attitude Era.

Roman Reigns did not take the comments lightly and decided to retaliate. In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, ‘The Tribal Chief’ claimed that wrestlers today are far more challenged than the ones of the Attitude Era.
“To be honest, and this is gonna make some good headlines, but it [wrestling in the Attitude Era] would’ve been too easy,” said Reigns. “I feel like [John] Cena said it before. It’s a challenge to be PG. It’s a challenge to not have to go the cheap route.”

WWE TV today is not even allowed to show blood in color display due to the PG restrictions. Moreover, Stone Cold spraying everyone with beer is something that can never happen in the PG scene.
“Being able to shove everything up everyone’s ass, to do that stuff, to just chug beers—and I’m not taking anything way from the performance and the physicality of what they did and the stories they told in the ring—these guys were great performers and great in-ring wrestlers. But the character development was easier,” explains Reigns.

“If I could just start chugging bourbon and smoking cigars, imagine what my character could be. We could go even further on this mob boss thing,” concluded ‘The Tribal Chief’.
Roman Reigns fired back with pure facts and proved that the work he and his colleagues do is nothing short of what wrestlers have been doing for generations.
