WATCH: Bianca Belair Gets Emotional Before First Entrance as SmackDown Women’s Champion

Bianca Belair conquered one of WWE’s most established Superstars at WrestleMania 37. Defeating Sasha Banks, she became the new SmackDown Women’s Champion. This feat completed the perfect year that has seen her rise to the top. 

‘The EST of WWE’ is now the bEST and is on her way to make more glory on the blue brand through her reign as Champion. However, it’s clear that she hasn’t really gotten over the gravity of her victory yet. 

In a recently released video, WWE showed a backstage scene where Bianca can be seen getting emotional over the WrestleMania recap of her defining match in the main event of Night 1. Belair couldn’t hold back the tears as she was made to relive the historic night that is undoubtedly the biggest one of her career yet.

The Street Profits i.e. Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford announced her entrance on the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, which was the first edition of the show after WrestleMania. Ford, Bianca’s husband in real life, couldn’t be prouder of the moment and how far his wife has come. 

Bianca Belair has had a series of hurdles to overcome throughout life and has managed to stay strong through it all. From having a troubled childhood, she truly went on to make her mark in an industry where she fits in best.

‘The EST of WWE’ has a superior athletic built which gives her a huge advantage heading into the future. Her young age also leaves space for a lot more to be accomplished through the years.

Bianca’s WrestleMania success stands as another pillar of pride for NXT, that built all three of the current Champions of the Women’s Division.

At NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, Raquel Gonzalez beat Io Shirai to end her dominant reign as NXT Women’s Champion. Ripley, Belair, and Gonzalez all celebrated their victory by appearing on NXT to show the fans where they were made and just how far they’ve come.

This moment also signified a promise for the future and those fighting to be heard in the developmental stage. Although it isn’t a surefire chance, NXT does hold the key to success, and there cannot be a bigger statement than all three NXT products making it big on the main stage. `
