Ronda Rousey may be on hiatus at the moment, but at this time 2 years ago, she was on fire. Making her way through the WWE Women’s division, ‘The Baddest Woman on the Planet’ was a force of nature.

The last Raw of the year fell on the last day of the year, which is December 31st. Rousey was paired with Natalya, both of whom had the task of taking out the team of Nia Jax and Tamina.

This colossal Women’s Tag Team match saw the exchange of pure grit between 4 highly experienced women in the sport. Nia Jax and Tamina proved to be a destructive combination of aerial power and brute force.

Rousey however, had her own skillset and was used to fighting the toughest. Natalya was the perfect partner as the two went head-on with Jax and Tamina.

Ronda Rousey took a big jump at Nia Jax and Tamina

At a crucial point in the match, Rousey saw the perfect opportunity. Climbing to the top rope, she performed a huge dive into her two opponents, taking them both down at once.

Fans still await the return of Rousey to the ring. The former Raw Women’s Champion has a lot of avenues open to her career if she returns but there has been no word from either side on contract renewal.

Rousey is also enjoying the time off from the painful and straining schedule of a professional wrestler. If she ever decided to return, we would definitely like to see this tag team match revisited.
