WWE Champion The Miz Opens Up on a Potential Return of Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania for a Dream Matchup
The Miz is enjoying every second of his reign as WWE Champion and has been on top of the world ever since he humbled Drew McIntyre at Elimination Chamber.
‘The Awesome One,’ is just days into his reign, but he has already been confronted by challengers on Raw. Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman stepped forth, all of which left Miz lost for words.

Now, he has to deal with the possibility of Drew McIntyre asking for a rematch, and Brock Lesnar also returning from a long hiatus for his rematch. As the king of the roster now, the Champion laid down his terms for every challenger.
“I am all about strategizing, trying to figure out what is best for this WWE Championship. And to be completely honest with you, sometimes the critics, sometimes the web universe doesn’t know what’s best for them. I do. I’ve been here for a long time. I’ve been here for 16 years,” said Miz, speaking to Inside The Ropes.
‘The Awesome One’ made it clear that the challenger must earn the opportunity to challenge, and he isn’t going to give shots away for free.
“So I think in my opinion that people need to, like I said with Bad Bunny, people need to earn their way,” explained Miz. “This isn’t the WWE Championship open challenge. I’m not just opening it up to just anyone because just anyone can’t hold this WWE Championship!”
“Can a Drew McIntyre? Yes, he’s done it. Can a Brock Lesnar? Yes, he’s done it. Can Bobby Lashley? Lashley right now is on fire. There is no one more dominant in WWE than Bobby Lashley. And I know this.”
The Miz took a shot at Brock Lesnar for his absence
The WWE Champion even took a shot at Brock Lesnar for not being around. According to his logic, for not being there, Lesnar doesn’t deserve a title shot.

“So I am prepared. I am ready to take on whoever at WrestleMania in the main event for this most coveted title and all of WWE, whether it be Brock Lesnar, whether it be Drew McIntyre. Yes, they’re definitely viable candidates, but they need to earn it. And to earn it, you need to be here, and one of those people are not here. And so we’ll see what happens,” concluded Miz.

If he does manage to come out of this as Champion, we may as well attach a wreath to the belt, because The Miz will have proven that he is Caesar.
