Carlito returned as Jeff Hardy’s partner against the team of Elias and Jaxson Ryker. This was a continuation of the events of the Rumble match, where Carlito eliminated Elias.

Historically, the Superstar enjoyed making appearances to attack John Cena, but he will have to find another man to fight now. ‘Caribbean Cool’ picked up the win after Jeff Hardy delivered a huge Swanton Bomb on Elias to score the pinfall.

After his return at the Rumble, many fans hoped that their favorite star was here to stay. Knowing Rumbles, the return could just be a one-off appearance. Thankfully, we will see the apple-lover a lot more times.

WWE released Carlito due to his violation of the Wellness Programme

Carlito was released in 2010 by WWE following some problems with his conduct. According to the official report from WWE, he refused to attend a rehabilitation facility which forced the company to part ways with him.

Carlito expressed his desire to rest where it all started for him before calling it on his career, and WWE has granted that wish for him. In fact, he was supposed to return earlier this year on Raw Legends Night.
