The WWE Hall of Famer was recently a guest on the Women’s Wrestling Talk Podcast. Stratus said, “I would love to, I love the idea of it. The reality is it comes with the road–and I just can’t do the road because of my family, but I’d love to contribute in some way.”

She also said the last couple of times she went back to WWE, she loved engaging with the women wrestlers and also gave them a few lessons on storytelling in the ring. Trish also talked about working with Fit Finlay again and said they both could put on some brilliant matches together. The women’s wrestling icon weighed in on possibly working in NXT too!

“We [Trish Stratus and Fit Finlay] would be, like, co-agenting probably. We would be awesome but, I would like to contribute in some way and I’ve talked to Matt Bloom, my former partner, about possibly going to NXT. We’ve talked about it on a number of occasions. It’s just like… It’s never the right time has come about to do that.” H/t Inside The Ropes

The time may have not come yet for Trish to go help the talent in NXT, but we can expect her to be there soon. After all, her passion, knowledge, and experience of the sport can shape future talent, especially women, into great workers in and outside the ring.

And hey, Trish isn’t fully retired. Sasha Banks and her have taken shots at each other on Twitter. A one-on-one match between the two is a dream for many. So, whenever Trish Stratus returns to the ring, it’s definitely going to be against ‘The Boss!’
