Recently, WWE issued a statement informing fans that Superstar Andrade had been released from contract following his request for the same earlier in the week. Now a free agent, fans wonder what’s next for the talent.

Dejected by his sudden departure from the company, many of his close friends in the locker room wished him well. Among those that provided him support was none other than former WWE Superstar Zelina Vega.

In a recent post on Twitter, Vega (now known as Thea Trinidad) sent him an emotional message wishing him well for the future.

Her husband, Aleister Black, also had parting words for the former WWE Superstar, and Andrade appreciated the wishes from all his fans and followers.

In a message following his release, Andrade expressed gratitude towards Triple H, Paul Heyman, and William Regal for their help in making him a known name and guiding him through his journey in WWE.

Andrade knew WWE did not have convincing plans for him

Andrade was one of the most underutilized talents in WWE. Following his victorious run in NXT, fans expected him to match the likes of Eddie Guerrero in the future. However, he was never given the opportunity he deserved.

WWE kept involving him in lower card storylines, which pulled down his appeal in fan’s eyes. Poorly booked, Andrade didn’t pull his weight on the main roster and was stagnating on Raw.

The Superstar was sidelined in the annual draft of 2020 when he wasn’t picked by either Raw or SmackDown, indicating that he would have to move back to NXT. Since then, we haven’t seen Andrade even turn up on the black and gold brand.

From his message above, we know for sure that there was no bad blood involved in this departure and that some sort of mutual agreement was reached between Andrade and WWE.

Fans expect this talent to soon debut on either IMPACT or AEW. A couple of weeks ago, Impact Superstar “Machine Gun” Karl Anderson teased Andrade’s debut on Impact while he was still a WWE Superstar.

If he does return, it would probably be in AEW, hopefully alongside Zelina Vega once more. Only time will tell what’s next in store for this man and whether he can prove WWE wrong by becoming the big star he was destined to be.
