WWE Makes a Huge Announcement for Clash of Champions
The latest episode of Monday Night Raw saw a lot of action everywhere. WWE also announced a major Women’s Tag Team Championship match for Clash of Champions following the show.
Two tag teams compete to become the number one contenders for the WWE Women’s Championship. Lana and Natalya enthusiastically took on the Riott Squad consisting of Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan. Reigning Women’s Tag Team Champions Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax sat ringside for commentary work.

The new pair of Lana and Natalya tried their best to overcome the odds, but the Riott squad was far more experienced and had better chemistry.
Lana got hit with a Riott Kick and was pinned. Following this victory, Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax stormed the ring to attack the victors. However, Riott and Liv were quick to slide out of the ring.

The two instead took their rage out on Lana and Natalya. Nia Jax sent Lana through the commentary table shortly after this, raising a lot of eyebrows.
WWE took a shot at Miro through his wife, Lana
Many interpreted this as a statement to former WWE Superstar Miro (Rusev) who joined AEW a week ago. Lana is Miro’s wife, and many knew that there would be some sort of retaliation but this was an all-out assault. Analyst Vince Russo blasted Vince McMahon for this earlier today.

Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan are set. To take on the two powerhouses of Jax and Baszler. One of the most experienced tag teams in WWE, the Riott Squad aims at slaying the beasts in front of them and grabbing the title.

Clash Of Champions already has a string of extremely interesting matches. Every Superstar in WWE holding a title will have to defend it by law at Clash of Champions. This makes it one of the most decisive pay per views apart form WrestleMania.

Ruby Riott is known for working well with Liv Morgan so we could see a strategic victory for the two. However, if Jax and Baszler dominate the match, there really isn’t a doubt as to who ends up winning.
