On the latest edition of WWE Monday Night RAW, R-Truth continued on his record breaking journey with the 24/7 title. The former U.S champion played a brilliant prank to regain the title he calls his baby.

The 24/7 title is the championship with the fastest turnover ever in WWE history. The belt changes faster then ever, you walk five steps and return and we have a new champion.

Akira Tozawa returned a few months back at Backlash with a gang of ninjas on bikes and with weapons. This was the first time Tozawa turned heel.

R-Truth becomes WWE 24/7 Champion again

On this week’s edition of Monday Night RAW, there was an eight-man tag team match. The Viking Raiders, Ricochet, and Cedric Alexander took on Akira Tozawa and his unknown ninjas.

This was a pure comedic match and the only thing on the card that lacked intensity. The Viking Raiders, Ricochet, and Cedric Alexander dominated from the start.

The match lasted about one minute with the ninjas getting destroyed. Tozawa wanted none of the action and left his ninjas high and dry.

Post the match, Tozawa started walking up the ramp to run away. The twist occurred when a referee came out and blocked Tozawa’s way.

R-Truth then unveiled himself who was dressed up as one of the Ninjas. Truth would soon roll up Tozawa and became champion for the 38th time.

The future of the 24/7 championship is generally a difficult one to predict. That’s a title which any male Superstar, female Superstar, celebrities, and even old retired superstars have won.

The only guarantee is that every alternate week, the title will be with R-Truth. In the past few weeks, Tozawa and Shelton Benjamin have won it. However, the common point being they have both pinned R-Truth.

R-Truth is now a 38-time champion, more than double of the legendary Ric Flair’s 16 time world championships. We know there is no comparison between the prestigious World Heavyweight Championship and 24/7 title, but a record is a record.
