‘Real American’ Hulk Hogan’s Rival Extends Help to Ukraine

Several individuals have come forward to help Ukraine with financial aid and others. Celebrities and legends from various fields have urged Ukraine to ask for help, and one such is the man who completely despises Hulk Hogan – WWE Legend The Iron Sheik.

The Iron Sheik took to social media to put out a helping hand. He urged Ukraine to let him know what he can do to help them.

This is quite different from the usual posts Sheik makes on social media. Most of them are curses and some of them are only about how much he hates Hulk Hogan.

But, this was one of the better ones out of the lot, and The Iron Sheik showed a different side of himself this time.

The Hulkster vs The Iron Sheik was based an origin-based rivalry

The Iron Sheik, an Iranian born heel, used to look down on The United States of America. He would constantly boast about Iran’s superiority, and would wave the flag around. He did not give a hoot about how it would make anyone feel.

Moreover, as the WWE Champion, no one could look down upon him. He was doing everything in his power to demean the United States. But, this was until Hulk Hogan emerged as a rival.

Originally, the match was supposed to be between Sheik and Bob Buckland. However, Buckland was still injured and he chose Hogan as his replacement. The Iron Sheik referred to this as a cheap move but was rather overconfident.

Hogan entered the arena to “Eye of the Tiger” and wore a “Made in the USA” t-shirt.

The Hulkster did the impossible at Madison Square Gardens – he broke out of the inescapable Camel Clutch and defeated The Iron Sheik to become the new WWE Champion.

The Iron Sheik never moved on from that defeat.

What is Hulk Hogan doing now?

While Sheik is stuck on a defeat, Hogan has moved on.

He isn’t actively wrestling anymore but still meeting fans and attending signings.

Additionally, he’s focused on his Beach Shop and Hogan’s Hangout.

On the personal front, Hulk Hogan recently started dating Sky Daily after his divorce to Jennifer McDaniel.
