During the Wrestling Observer Radio, it was revealed that even though the WWE legend didn’t wrestle ‘crazy’ this year, he still has reasons to finally stop with combat sports.

He’s having surgery on both elbows, so you know, that’s you know, he didn’t do a lot. He really didn’t wrestle a lot, but he still ended up with two surgeries, so that says that maybe he won’t do,” the show hosts revealed on the radio.

Even a couple of days ago, the WWE legend made a tweet in which he also mentioned getting therapy for one of his arms done as the other one shall begin soon. The post on ‘X’ read, “Thank you [@JeffDugasMD] and your entire team in Birmingham! One arm fixed, clean & headed for therapy … one arm left to go! Thank you again and see you ASAP for the next one!!

His retirement has been teased ever since he lost his Crown Jewel match. Now, the reports of his elbow surgery confirm that he might not return in 2024 for much in-ring action.
