The WWE released the former WWE superstar Tegan Nox in November 2021. The reason the WWE released her was because of the budget cuts. Since the pandemic began, Vince McMahon and the creative team have fired many superstars for the same reason.
During her time, Nox made her main roster debut in July 2021 in a tag team partnership with Shotzi Blackheart.

Tegan Nox was not fit for the WWE?
Recently, Nixon Newell, fka Tegan Nox, appeared on the latest episode of Into The Danger Zone with Chris Denker. The former WWE superstar’s sentiments are driven towards the fact that the WWE does not want wrestlers that have technical abilities; they are more into looks.

Nixon stated she was not the product that Vince McMahon’s WWE wanted. She said, “As we can see watching the product now, it’s very much [the] Diva era coming back. I just always felt like I was always on the chopping block, even if I could wrestle. I was not much of a personality or character for them.”
When the company released her, they also fired several other superstars along with her. The names include Keith Lee, Nia Jax, Karrion Kross, John Morrison, Hit Row crew, and many more.
Nixon Newell believes Vince McMahon and creative do not entertain mistake
Tegan Nox assumes that the professional wrestlers were on the fence of their exits. Many superstars that were released in recent time has already criticized the company owner Vince McMahon.
One mistake by any superstar, and they are walking out of the doors of WWE. “I’m in more of a firing lineup here. Like I could do one thing wrong, and I could be gone next week,” said Nixon. But she also added, “Everyone’s walking on eggshells. You don’t want to step out of line just in case something could go wrong, which luckily, I guess I didn’t really do anything wrong.”

She revealed her opinion about her release from the company. As mentioned earlier, many releases by the owner Vince McMahon were described as “budgetary.” However, Tegan Fox believes that the real reason was something else.
Tegan Nox stated, “I just didn’t fit in the demographic is my true belief. Nothing to do with the budget cuts. I just didn’t fit the look or the idea of what they wanted for their female wrestlers.” {h/t wrestlinginc.com}
