Prior to that, Strowman was in a brief storyline with Shane McMahon. It started when Shane McMahon arrived at WWE and referred to Strowman as dumb. This infuriated The Monster, who was bent on taking revenge. After cutting a couple of promos, WWE booked Strowman vs. McMahon for WrestleMania 37.

Usually, when Shane McMahon is in a feud with someone, WWE puts McMahon over. Hence, in this case, the WWE Universe presumed Shane McMahon would win. However, in the steel cage match, Strowman stole the show with his unmatched strength.

There was a point where he prevented McMahon from leaving the cage by ripping apart the structure from the inside. It was one highlight of WrestleMania 37.

Braun Strowman won the match, and the Universe expected WWE to continue pushing him to the top, where he belonged. Little did the WWE Universe know the company would push him out of WWE.

There is no doubt that Strowman will make moves to continue his growth as a pro-wrestler. Although he has shown no interest in joining any other company, it’s possible AEW has already made contact with him for a potential signing with them.
