The Big Dog of WWE has been absent from live television for some time now. Roman Reigns won’t be making a return soon. According to his recent interview, he looks to sort out other matters at hand.
Reigns were supposed to be in a match with Goldberg at WrestleMania 36 for the Universal Championship, but he pulled out. Braun Strowman took his place and went on to win the championship.

Why is Roman Reigns taking time off?

Reigns has expressed that he will return when he feels he should. This could be the reason why Reigns is not part of any creative plans as of now.
Sources also revealed that Reigns is currently making over a thousand dollars on cameo every day. He does not need a financial backup at the moment. So, taking some time off would not hurt him.

Last week, TMZ Today interviewed Reigns. He does want to return to in-ring action, but he says he needs to protect his kids now. Reigns is staying away from the WWE for his family.
“A lot of people think that it was based on my health and the history of my fight against leukemia, but just talking to my doctors and stuff, I actually am fine, and my immune system is good,” said Reigns.
Reigns also said that the drugs he takes do not affect his immune system, but his decision to take a sabbatical is majorly influenced by his need to take care of his kids.

“We just had two newborn twins. They’re 8 weeks old, so I had to make a decision for them.”
When asked about the possibility of his return, Reigns commented, “Hopefully very soon, but right now we’re in daddy mode.”. It would be tough for a top Superstar of WWE to sit out, but family is valuable, and we respect Reign’s decision.
