WWE is exploring the option of freezing contracts of wrestlers who refuse to work during the pandemic
Now, when the spread was rapid, WWE understood that their wrestlers didn’t want to travel as a precaution.

WWE has a policy which freezes contracts for wrestlers who have not been in the ring for prolonged periods.
Roman Reigns seems to be on the safe side even though he refused to work during the pandemic
Dave Meltzer, while talking on Wrestling Observer Radio, reported that WWE will definitely freeze certain contracts but not all.

According to him, WWE might or might not freeze Kevin Owens’s contract given that its only been a few weeks.
On the other hand, Sami Zayn will most probably have the contract frozen.
However, Roman Reigns will most likely not face any consequences at all.

“With Kevin Owens it’s only been a couple of weeks… so I guess it’s not. But with Sami Zayn it probably will be. If it’s Roman Reigns, they may not want to piss him off, and he isn’t going anywhere anyway. He is one guy who is not going to go anywhere. But with some guys absolutely they will freeze them [their contracts].”
This is not surprising given that Reigns is a very valued face and WWE will not take chances with him.
The company will want to ensure Reigns continues to ride with them.
