REPORTS: Despite CM Punk’s Absence, Monday Night Raw Registers Highest-Ever Revenue in WWE Event Market

For the first time in 9 years, CM Punk stood inside the WWE ring at Raw last week. The scene was captivating, and the excitement was oozing out of the crowd. The fact that last week’s flagship show gathered quite an audience made it very evident that the WWE Universe was extremely pleased to see Punk in WWE.

Unfortunately, Punk was not present at this week’s Monday Night Raw. But that didn’t create any loss for WWE. As a matter of fact, this week’s Raw registered the highest-ever revenue in the WWE event market. Scroll down to find more details.

WWE Raw profits skyrocket, despite no appearance from CM Punk

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com, the recent episode of Raw on 12/04 was reported as a massive success for WWE. The internal live events reports state that the WWE Raw event that took place in Albany tonight has broken all previous records and has become the highest-grossing WWE event ever held in the market.

The event has witnessed an overwhelming response from the audience, making it a huge success for the WWE. Punk or no Punk, fans are very much invested in how WWE will progress with things with Punk’s comeback.
