The latest edition of Monday Night Raw saw Seth Rollins team up with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens against Judgement Day. The main event six-man tag team match saw Judgement Day win the match, with Finn Balor pinning Sami Zayn.

According to a new report, after the match concluded, a heated argument broke out backstage between certain wrestlers, seemingly due to poor coordination during the match. It should be that there were already kayfabe tensions between Finn Balor and Damian Priest. However, the backstage incident was real.

PWInsider reports that the argument stemmed from the execution of certain spots in the match that were deemed “clunky” by sources. The report noted that two sources believe that “last-minute changes” during the match disrupted its flow and coordination, leading to a heated argument backstage.

It’s worth noting that the source refused to reveal the name of the talent involved to protect him from online mockery and controversies. Furthermore, the argument appeared to be linked to the outcome of the match. Sami Zayn was about to land the Helluva Kick on Balor in the final moments of the match when Rhea Ripley ultimately distracted him

This allowed Damien Priest to hit Zayn with The South of Heaven. Ultimately, Balor delivered the Coup De Grace to pin Sami Zayn. Following the match, Balor and Damien Priest put aside their differences and reconciled with a hug. Until then, Balor was still sour on Priest for their misunderstanding at MITB.

Although it is unknown who was specifically agitated backstage, thankfully, the argument did not lead to physicality. Eventually, everybody calmed down, but they were not happy with the result of the match. It was “one of those nights” on Raw when things did not come out as they were planned, per the report.

At this point, there are a lot of questions that have been left unanswered.

The final stages of the match saw Rhea Ripley hand Damien Priest his MITB briefcase to use as a weapon. However, Ilja Dragunov intervened and prevented Priest from taking out Hayes.

Despite the assist from Dragunov, Hayes inadvertently knocked him down, allowing Priest to capitalize on the miscommunication.

Finn Balor finished the match with an impactful Coup De Grace after Priest hit Hayes with the South of Heaven. Nonetheless, while there may have been tensions backstage on Raw, Judgement Day’s onslaught continues wherever they go.
