REPORTS: Vince McMahon to Give Matt Riddle a Huge Push Soon

Matt Riddle has been making appearances on WWE Raw quite frequently. These constant appearances have caught the eye of WWE critics and wrestling reporters.
As of now, the notion is that Vince McMahon might actually be fond of ‘The King of Bros’. In fact, Dave Meltzer offered his opinion about the situation.
“So Vince doesn’t understand Matt Riddle’s gimmick, the bro thing or anything. But, Vince thinks that Matt Riddle is very funny in his own weird way. So Vince likes the guy.

“I don’t know that he wants to push him to a main event but he likes the guy on TV doing this stuff because Vince probably never saw Fast Times at Ridgemont High and doesn’t realize that he’s doing a 40-year-old character – you know, Jeff Spicolli from that movie.
“And probably he thinks that this is really unique and funny and everything like that and so he wants this character. He likes Matt Riddle.”
Matt Riddle will need to keep performing to be a Vince McMahon favorite
Now, if this true, then Riddle will get the push he needs to rise to the top. However, Riddle is working under WWE Raw. The red brand already has other well-built and highly skilled Superstars.
Therefore, it won’t be a cake-walk for him. Of course, a preference of Vince McMahon will climb the ladder, but he will need to convince the audience too.

If Matt Riddle does not keep his performance at par, then there is nothing stopping Mr. McMahon from changing his mind.
“Vince likes guys like Shawn who have that rebel mentality, and he sees some of Shawn in Matt. Matt can rub some people the wrong way but he’s a good guy and he will do great when Vince calls him up.

Previously, a WWE source had confirmed that Vince McMahon already has eyes for Riddle. It’s lasted a while, and if Riddle can make it last longer, he might just be in line for the Championship!
