The Judgment Day’s Rhea Ripley is dominating the women’s division like never before. The Eradicator has demolished every opponent in her path but now she is poised to face uphill tasks by facing Becky Lynch at Royal Rumble. While Lynch is set to fight Ripley at Rumble, another superstar from the Four Horsewomen is expected to win and then challenge Mami. But Mami seems ready for any challenge.
Rhea Ripley answers Bayley’s challenge on social media
Former WWE Women’s Champion Bayley took to X on January 19th to let Ripley know that she would have her eyes on her during Royal Rumble. She tweeted, “Call me the Mami Slayer. I’m coming for you Rhea Ripley. #RoyalRumble #SmackDown @RheaRipley_WWE” along with a picture of herself. Her challenge was immediately accepted by Mami on January 20th as she re-shared Bayley’s tweet.

Bayley has never won the women’s Royal Rumble since its inception in the year 2018 when Asuka won the event. Her best performance came in the year 2019 when she entered at #27 finishing 4th in the pecking order after being eliminated by Nia Jax and Charlotte Flair. However, now she has a goal to do better and become the third member of the four horsewomen to win the Rumble after Flair and Lynch.

Damage CTRL wants to dominate the women’s division
As evident from the message, the Damage CTRL members are looking to occupy all available championship belts in the roster, to showcase their dominance. In the recent episode of SmackDown, The Kabuki Warriors challenged WWE tag team winners Katana Chance and Kayden Carter for the title. Meanwhile, Sky wants Bayley to dethrone Rhea Ripley after winning the Royal Rumble.

This time, she has a better support system to ensure her victory as former WWE Champion and inaugural Women’s Royal Rumble winner, Asuka is a member of Damage CTRL. Alongside Asuka is the former NXT Champion, Kairi Sane, who may hesitate to help given their history.
Regardless, Bayley has better odds at winning the Rumble this year as no other superstars hold the legitimate buildup towards WrestleMania if we do not see any surprise entrant.
