AEW’s Collision took place last night at the United Center, in Chicago, Illinois in front of a capacity crowd. Wrestling fans have high expectations from AEW’s second televised show after Dynamite. But all eyes were undoubtedly on the return of CM Punk.

Fans waited nine long months to see Punk in action in the ring. He had to take a break owing to a torn tricep injury he suffered at the PPV All Out in 2022. While there were a lot of memorable moments on Collison’s premiere night, one sign in the crowd made Rhea Ripley laugh.

A fan hilariously spelled Mami as Momy

Fans bring homemade signs to wrestling events hoping that their favorite stars catch a glimpse of it or it gets highlighted on the giant screen. One such fan sign was photographed and posted on Twitter and that obviously caught Mami’s attention.

The sign very genuinely called out AEW star Buddy Matthews, who is the real-life boyfriend of WWE star Ripley. The sign read, “Hey Buddy, Ain’t It Funny How Dommy Stole Your Momy’. While it’s clearly evident the fan was trying to create a rhyme with Dommy and Momy, Ripley had words for the fan as well.

When Rhea saw this, she couldn’t help but tweet her response. She tweeted,   “I find it funnier that this guy obviously watches the product but still doesn’t know how to spell ‘MAMI.’

But Dom Dom will be needing more than just signs for support when he faces The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes at Money in the Bank on 2nd July.

Cody wants payback for Dominik’s cheap smack

Dominik Mysterio is the fan favorite when it comes to booing someone. But while Dominik was getting his usual heel reception, he tried to humiliate Rhodes by calling him a “bad father”.

Rhodes cleverly replied to that,” Nobody’s perfect, i’m not perfect. Rey Mysterio who i admire and respect alot, i’m sure he is not the perfect father. Matter of fact, i know he’s made some terrible mistakes, and i know that because I’m looking at one.”

That angered Dominik so much that he ended up slapping Rhodes and hid behind Ripley when Rhodes came to seek revenge. This week on RAW, Rhodes challenged Dominik to a match at Money in The Bank and fans can’t wait for Dom Dom to be put in his rightful place.
