“Ric Flair Should Not Be Allowed to Wrestle”: Former WCW Star Gives a Stern Warning to 73-Year-Old WWE Legend

In the past, fans have seen several shocking in-ring returns in the history of professional wrestling. But an in-ring return at the age of 73? That could be something risky, and there are rumors that Ric Flair is going to take this risk in the coming days.

However, former WCW star Chris Cruise is against Ric Flair’s rumored in-ring return at 73 years of age. Chris Cruise recently made a post on Facebook showing his concerns for Flair’s health.

According to Cruise, Ric Flair should not be allowed to make his in-ring return because of his health. Though Flair is enjoying life right now, he had a major health scare that left the fans worried.

In the post, Cruise noted, “Ric Flair should not be allowed to wrestle. Some reports indicate he has been working out with Jay Lethal in preparation to returning to the ring.”

“He can’t be stopped from doing so in states that don’t have athletic commissions and licensing protocols, but insurance companies can step in and refuse to issue a bond to a promotion that books him. Simply put, Ric Flair returning to the ring is not wise. He’s 73, in poor health, an alcoholic, and has a pacemaker installed,” Cruise added.

Further, Chris Cruise revealed the email that he has sent the Maryland State Athletic Commission. He asked the Maryland State Athletic Commission to deny Flair a license. And according to him, this could help to keep Ric Flair alive.
