When Riddle and Orton came together on screen for the first time, there wasn’t one in the WWE Universe who wasn’t shocked. This is a team that didn’t make any sense, yet it made so much sense. Bringing together The Original Bro and The Apex Predator was a stroke of brilliance from the company.

Now, during a conversation with WWE Live Dhamaal, Matt Riddle detailed his experience working with Randy Orton. According to Riddle, his time with Orton has been a blessing. In fact, it’s a dream come true!

“Bro, working with Randy has been a dream come true. I mean he’s Randy Orton. I’ve been a fan for a long time.. I remember it was probably a week before Mania and I was defending the US title against Sheamus and I was talking to Randy or somebody else, I was talking to a couple of people. I was like ‘how crazy would it be like me and Randy formed a tag team and called ourselves RK-Bro?’ And everybody’s like ‘oh, that’ll never happen’. I was like ‘yeah, probably not’.”

“And then two weeks later it’s written down and I’m like ‘what?’ And they’re like ‘yeah, we figured this could set something up’ and something that was supposed to be this big [small] is now humongous. I’m just waiting for Randy to get back. I miss him, I miss learning from him, I miss hanging out with him in the locker room, I miss his musk. I can’t wait to see Randy again!”
