On the heels of the mass layoff, Dwayne Johnson’s daughter, Ava, has shared a cryptic post on social media. The nature of the post led to many fans displaying concerns. But before reading what the fans said, let’s find out why they said it.

Ava, who had a name change a few weeks ago, started as Ava Raine in WWE’s developmental brand- NXT- last year. The first 4th generation star in the promotion was paired with The Schism, a stable comprising Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid of The Dyad and Joe Gacy, alongside the 22-year-old.

While they had a run together for close to a year, Fowler and Reid were removed from the group just weeks ago, which was necessitated by the duo leaving the company.

At NXT No Mercy, held on September 30 at the Mechanics Bank Arena in Bakersfield, California, Gacy confessed to being wrong and asked Johnson’s daughter to leave. Even though she tried to assure The Schism’s leader, it ended with the faction breaking apart as Gacy wanted to figure out the rest of his journey on his own.

Shortly after the development, Ava took to X to tweet “goodbye”, followed by a ‘heartbreak’ emoji.

Fans lend support to Ava as Schism breaks apart

Gacy might not have supported her young stable mate, leaving her ‘heartbroken’, but there was no dearth of support from Ava’s followers on the web. This fan expressed their sadness at the breaking of the stable.

One user was able to relate the development to their own life. They said the two have a common theme- untimely severance and lack of loyalty.

Ava’s tweet is likely to leave some of her fans’ eyes moist. This reaction underneath encapsulates the emotions of a group of her fans.

This user has urged her to keep going and not leave the promotion. There is a high chance that Ava will now embark on a new journey as a singles player. She would replicate her legendary father who also embarked on uncharted territory as a singles player. Gacy is likely to get a main roster call-up.
