WWE legend Chris Benoit suffered through CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy), the same brain injury where he had damages incurred to all the four lobes of his brain, and the brain stem. Chair shots and concussions were deduced as the main reason behind this injury. With RVD being a hardcore wrestler through the majority of his career, the fan wondered if was suffering a similar fate as well.

However, the former WWE Champion would himself come clear on Twitter, and address the situation. He would deny the rumors and claim, “Of course I don’t have CTE- so whatever fact checking you’re doing… it ain’t working.”

CTE is a very dangerous brain disorder, and if Rob Van Dam was suffering through the same, he would likely consulted a doctor years ago.
