In the beginning, everyone thought that Paul Heyman was the one behind every move that Roman Reigns made in 2020. But as time went by, we saw that The Tribal Chief doesn’t take orders, he commands others. His entire faction was once built all around him, every member contributing to the growth and legacy of one, Roman Reigns.

With Reigns as his newest client, Heyman became a part of the biggest storyline in the modern era. So, there was no way that Heyman would admit to coercing Reigns to the dark path in WWE. Also, he is also clearing up how Reigns was the one who got Heyman under his charm as well as giving him a place on the island of relevancy.

Paul Heyman reveals how Roman Reigns saved his WWE career

On WWE The Bump, the first question that the hosts asked Heyman was if he predicted Reigns’ long run with the titles. To this, Heyman only had one thing to say: Yes. To embolden his answer he revealed the reason behind his belief in The Tribal Chief.

He had only this to say, “Let’s go back to the first time we appeared in an interview on television together, which was the Friday after Roman Reigns won the Universal Championship. Everybody’s sitting there, thinking, oh Brock Lesnar’s advocate is corrupting Roman Reigns. Don’t point the finger at me like I corrupted Roman Reigns, Roman Reigns corrupted me.”

After that, Heyman went on to detail how Reigns helped him become relevant. From bringing Heyman out every week along with him, the pairing between Reigns and Heyman was even comical at one point in the 3 years that they’ve been by each other’s sides. Even though he had been excused from his Raw executive producer position and Lesnar left him as well, Heyman said that Reigns found him and gave him a position.

This started off another iconic duo that Heyman’s a part of, acting as a speaker for The Bloodline as well as helping it expand from just a segment to an iconic story. But all the eyes are darted toward seeing how will the people involved with end this story and give people an ending to remember for a long time.
