Lesnar versus Reigns: History Behind This Rivalry

Lesnar and Reigns have a rich history, and they have wrestled many times before. They have had six encounters till now. SummerSlam 2018 was the latest one, where Lesnar was defending his Universal Championship. In that fight, Reigns had defeated Lesnar to become the new champion.

Although Reigns won the last encounter, Lesnar is leading the win-chart with 3-2. The one left was won by Seth Rollins. During the match, Rollins entered and cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to win the title. It will be exciting to see whether the champ can continue his title reign and equal the margin of defeat.

Why isn’t Lesnar a GOAT for Roman?

In a recent interview with Bleacher Report, Reigns shared his thoughts over his match with Lesnar. Roman complimented ‘The Beast’, saying he knows his capability. He talked about how his physical shape and strength are looking phenomenal.

Reigns even accepted that Lesnar is the biggest threat to his championship reign. However, Reigns does not believe Lesnar is the GOAT.

He said, “Brock Lesnar might be one of the most… I’m not going to throw him in that GOAT category of actual MMA fighting and mixed martial arts.”

These words from the tribal chief show his opinion of the beast. He appreciated his eye-catching presence in the ring. Also, the success and fame Lesnar enjoyed was applauded, but still, Reigns denied him as the greatest of all time.

Apparently, he is using mind games, cracking jokes, laughing, and is doing so while still looking ruthless.
