The marquee event WrestleMania 39 is drawing ever so near. The battle lines are being drawn for all the matches scheduled at the spectacle. And the enticing main event match is no different, with Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes set to collide on the grand stage. The recent edition of SmackDown marked the first time the champion came face to face with the challenger.
The whole promo between Reigns and Cody Rhodes screamed something special. But the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion definitely made their rivalry a personal one with his hard-hitting comments.

‘The American Nightmare’ did not waste any time in appearing before ‘The Tribal Chief’ on SmackDown. And due to Rhodes’ request, we got to see a one-on-one conversation between him and Reigns. However, what transpired next wasn’t too pleasing for the challenger.
Reigns went off to spew verbal venom, which has become synonymous with him. He said, “You ever won that one? {pointing to his title} Have you ever even competed for one of these? Have you ever been in the main event of WrestleMania before? Because I’m pretty sure I’ve done did all of that. So, that means I’m the most experienced main event of all time. But here’s the kicker. I’ve been groomed not only by my father but your father too”.
