However, fans on Twitter believe Edge might be the new champion since he lay on top of Daniel Bryan, while the referee counted the pin.

The referee of the triple threat match, Charles Robinson, is one of WWE’s most experienced officials. He responded to a fan who questioned the result of the main event. It even got the attention of WWE official Adam Pearce, who might address the problem on SmackDown.

Charles Robinson claimed he saw four shoulders on the mat and counted the pinfall. Since the referee’s discretion is final, Roman Reigns is the winner. However, Adam Pearce might have something else on his mind and has summoned Robinson to his office.

Will Adam Pearce address this problem on SmackDown this Friday, or is this just a silly prank played by Pearce and Robinson on the WWE Universe?

Roman Reigns is obviously going to boast about his epic win at WrestleMania 37. His victory might be the most dominant in WrestleMania history and puts him in the upper echelon of WrestleMania performers. He can boldly claim he’s beaten Undertaker, Triple H, Drew McIntyre, Edge, and Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania.

Given the controversy surrounding the pinfall and Jey Uso costing him the match, Edge will undoubtedly feel cheated out of a guaranteed title win.

Although, Reigns winning was the right call, as putting the title on a 47-year-old would’ve been bad. Edge is a phenomenal wrestler, but he’s nothing compared to the Tribal Chief.

Edge might be the next challenger for Roman, but he has many other potential opponents in the long run. Kevin Owens and Cesaro won their matches at WrestleMania and will want a piece of the champion. Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn and Big E are the other men on the blue brand who are hungry for gold.
